CHICKEN PASTA ITALIANO
2 cups egg noodles or pasta of choice

1 pound chicken breast
1/4 tsp garlic powder or 1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 med onion, chopped
1 sm green pepper, chopped

1 can diced tomatoes
1 sm can tomato sauce
1 sm can water

2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp chili powder

8 oz mozzarella shreaded cheese (2 cups)
pimento
Instructions: Cook the noodles, drain and rinse with cold water- don't overcook (5-6 minutes).

Cut the chicken into bite size pieces and fry, season with garlic, salt and pepper. Add onion and green pepper. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and one tomato sauce can of water. Add Italian seasoning(marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano, basil), soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and chili powder. Stir well and allow to cook on low temperature until well combined and tender.

Combine pasta and chicken mixture in a baking dish. Top with cheese and pimento.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes (until it is bubbling).

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
