PASTA ITALIANO-Linda Wurgler
2 cups egg noodles
1 pound lean ground beef
garlic
salt
pepper
1 sm can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1 can water
1 med onion, chopped
1 sm green pepper, chopped
2 tsp Italian seasoning
8 oz mozzarella shreaded cheese (2 cups)
pimento
Instructions: Cook the noodles, drain and rinse with cold water- don't overcook (5-6 minutes).

Cook the ground beef until crumbly, season with garlic, salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and one tomato paste can of water. Add onion, green pepper, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.

Combine egg noodles and hamburger mixture in a baking dish. Top with cheese and pimento.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes (until it is bubbling).

Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
