MAPLE SALMON - Doug LeMoine
1/3 cupmaple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
4 skinless salmon fillets
Instructions: Combine ingredients and marinade salmon for 5 minutes.

Remove salmon from marinade. Pour remaining marinade into a small sauce pan and reduce to a syrup. This only takes about five minutes once it gets hot but you have to stir almost constantly to keep it from burning. Set the sauce aside.

In a medium hot pan with 1 tbsp of oil, sear salmon about 3 minutes on each side.

Drizzle a little extra reduced marinade over the salmon before serving-not to much-it's pretty sweet.

I serve it with rice.
