FETTUCINE ALFREDO - Barb Smolinski
1/2 stick butter
2-3 minced garlic cloves
2 green onions, whole

grated parmesan or romano cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
Cook pasta per package instructions drain and set aside.

Saute butter, garlic, and green onions.

Remove and discard the garlic and green onions and add heavy cream. Cook over low heat until slightly thickened. Add cooked pasta slowly stirring constantly. Add grated cheese and cook until cheese is melted.

Note: for seafood fettucine, saute shrimp and a can of crabmeat in butter, add to mixture after removing onion.
