Combine butter, sugar and syrup. Heat to a boil stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Boil for 3 minutes. Continue cooking over low heat until 238 degrees. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour into buttered 9x9 glass dish. Cool until set. Cut into bite sized pieces, wrap in waxed paper squares. |
