Combine butter, sugar and syrup. Heat to a boil stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Boil for 3 minutes. Continue cooking over low heat until 238 degrees.|
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour into buttered 9x9 glass dish. Cool until set.
Cut into bite sized pieces, wrap in waxed paper squares.
